We are running to raise awareness about our mission: Run Hope Work helps improve the lives of young adults in DC who are battling homelessness, returning from the justice system, struggling with single parenthood, and/or facing unemployment but are motivated to work. Funds raised through this 5K and other efforts allow Run Hope Work to get more DC youth off the streets and into jobs in the construction trades. We’re helping empower young adults through running, meditation and workforce development to end the cycle of poverty and violence. Please join us! Let’s all Run for a Better Life.
Our June 23rd race will be a fast, flat, out and back 5K on the C&O Canal Tow Path in DC. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. at Fletcher’s Cove and heads upstream. Register HERE
